The Loaf Ltd
Applicants must be fully skilled and experienced bakers - able to work to a high standard and on own initiative. Alternatively we can offer this position as an apprenticeship if you would like to complete a part time college course and learn the skilled trade of artisan baking.
Working in a friendly team, you will be a skilled artisan baker or someone with more traditional bakery skills willing to learn how to produce the large range of breads we have on a daily basis at the loaf. Or if interested in the apprenticeship, you will be a keen and active learner willing to work hard and learn this trade.
Your most important skills are hand moulding, a focus on producing a quality product, the ability to work permanent nights, a willingness to work hard and the flexibility to move around the bakery. You will also be part of a friendly and close-knit team.
We are a growing artisan bakery with a retail outlet, a growing number of significant wholesale contracts in the area and baking for regular weekly and monthly markets. We have a reputation for producing a large range of quality artisan breads, sourdoughs and continental breads.
40 hours a week (or 32 hours plus 8 hours day release for college if on an apprenticeship) . Due to our rural location and shift times outside of bus and rail transport, your own car is essential.
Immediate start available.
If you have the skills and experience required please e mail a C.V. and brief covering letter or ring Andrew Auld on 01773 857074
