Job description

Cardiff and Vale UHB Pharmacy Department University Hospital of Wales &University Hospital Llandough Trainee Pharmacy Technician Band 4 Annexe U 3 posts This is an opportunity for 3 enthusiatic and motivated trainee pharmacy technicians to join our forward thinking, innovative team based at the Pharmacy departments - University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital Llandough. Our pharmacy directorate provides a leading edge pharmaceutical service to patients. We are looking for applicants with a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including English, Mathematics and Science. An NVQ level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills is desirable. The successful candidates will undertake an NVQ level 3 diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills and BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science. A broad experience and full training support will be provided in all aspects of hospital pharmacy including patient services, procurement, medicines information
and technical services. The two year programme will commence on 1st March 2018, and will include cross site rotation.
