Design and Technology Technician

Job description

Clayesmore School is situated in the beautiful Dorset village of Iwerne Minster, midway between Shaftesbury and Blandford Forum on the A350. It occupies a fine site and is a flourishing community of 480 senior school girls and boys aged 13 18, with a further 220+ pupils who are members of the Prep School. Clayesmore is much in demand at the present timepupil numbers at the Senior School have grown year on year but despite this growth, which is very stimulating and encouraging, we are at heart a small school and wish to remain as such. Boarding is strong with 260 in the Senior School and 6570 in the Prep School.

We require an experienced technician to assist in our busy Design &Technology department.

Duties will include preparation of materials for lessons, regular maintenance of equipment and tools, and assisting the teaching staff in providing students with an exciting and effective Design and Technology experience within a safe environment.
