Digital IT Services Technician
We are seeking an experienced Digital IT Services Technician who is equally skilled in desktop as well as audio-visual as both are key to the role. This post offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Desktop and AV Support Team who are responsible for delivering a high level of customer service to 18, 000 students; 2, 500 staff who utilize over 5,000 workstations and 300 Audio Visual Teaching Rooms across 4 campuses.
Candidates must demonstrate significant and proven experience of Windows, Mac OSX and Audio Visual solutions in mid to large organisations. You will be required to install software, remedy hardware and software faults, carry out preventative maintenance checks, to provide conference and event support in and out of hours, work to SLAs and be used to dealing with a case management solution.
The role requires a clear analytical approach to problem solving, along with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse technical team.
