Location: Salford. M6 6AP
Salary: £16,500 - £19,000 per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Monday-Friday core hours 9am-5pm
Our client is a social enterprise that offers a clinically informed practice model and therapeutic programme encompassing educational, clinical and residential care services. Their objective is to enhance the psychological wellbeing of children within the ‘looked after children’ sector through their Restorative Parenting Recovery Programme.
You will be part of a small team and will be responsible for the coordination of IT and communication functions as directed by the Head of Finance and IT. The post holder will ensure compliance and will maintain data/information on all IT equipment, suppliers and assets to enable the organisation to function to a standard of communication / data management to enable business to take place.
The post holder will coordinate the maintenance of IT equipment including PC’s, Laptops, phones, hardware and software, by referring to suppliers and third parties in accordance with service level agreements and adhering to the refurbishment and replacement IT asset plan as set by the Head of Finance and IT.
Supporting our client to function to statutory standards of compliance / data storage and providing information to the Head of Finance and IT for the weekly / monthly report. The post holder will put in to practice innovative IT ideas that promote their brand and Restorative Parenting programme.

The successful IT Technician will have the following:
• Level 2 or above qualification in IT/ICT related subject
• Good standard of English, Maths and IT
• High level of technical knowledge and competence
• Willingness to study towards a degree in a computer related subject
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge of the world wide web and basic range of functions on browsers
• Good knowledge of Data Protection Legislation
• Degree in a computer related subject
• ICT Training Skills
• Problem Solving Skills
• The ability to follow maintenance and repair procedures
• Knowledge of software and network integrity and security
• Knowledge of other software packages.
