Entry-Level IT Technician / Junior Web Support Exec (Events Software)

An Entry-Level IT Technician / Junior Web Support Exec (with HTML and CSS skills) is needed to join a small tech start up in Hertfordshire. This is a rare opportunity for a talented candidate with a strong interest in Computers / Web Design or Web Development to play a key role assisting in the delivery of software based solutions for global events.

Leading the way in Radio-Frequency Identification technology this innovative company delivers identity and tracking solutions for global events ranging from large scale sports tournaments, to music festivals and conferences. Due to continued success they are now seeking an Entry-Level IT Technician / Junior Web Support Exec with excellent communication skills and the desire to progress their career into a Project Management role to join their talented team.

Joining as an Entry-Level IT Technician / Junior Web Support Exec you will utilise your understanding of CSS / HTML, IP Networks and windows to provide vital assistance to Project Managers and clients ensuring the software for global events run like clockwork whilst helping to write the user manual. Expect to attend the events yourself on occasion to provide adhoc assistance to clients and stakeholders as required. There will also be some warehouse / onsite hardware work.

To qualify…You should be an Entry-Level IT Technician / Junior Web Support Exec / IT Technician / Junior Web Support Executive / Event IT Tech / Junior IT Support Assistant / Graduate Web Developer / Graduate Web Manager / Web Support Assistant / Software Support Engineer or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

- You are a super organised IT / Computer Science / Web Design / Web Development graduate / college leaver or similar;

- Skills with HTML & CSS (these will be tested at interview);

- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal;

- Good troubleshooting and problem solving abilities;

- You are hard working with a desire to acquire new skills;

- The willingness to work evenings / weekends and internationally as and when the projects require.

Any experience or exposure to the events / hospitality industry would be a bonus.
You will need to have a valid passport, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
