Interior Landscapes Technician

Location – M4 Corridor Surrey - Reading - Bristol, Mobile.

Hours – Full Time, 40 hours, Temporary (3 Months)

Mitie are currently seeking a new Interior Landscapes Technician to join the South-East branch of the Mitie Landscapes team.

Reporting to the Interior Landscape Supervisor, the Interior Landscapes Technician will carry out their duties to achieve high standards.

The Interior Landscapes Technician’s key duties will include:

• Keeping plants free from dust
• The Interior Landscapes Technician will check plants for moisture and water accordingly. Either from top of compost, or if plant has watering tank - then by filling the tank via the tube.
• Remove any dead/dying foliage, trimming brown parts of the leaves and removing all leaves which are dying.
• The Interior Landscapes Technician will keep plants free from dust
• Keep planters clean and free from dust and water spills.
• If a plant is failing and in need of replacing then The Interior Landscapes Technician must fill this in on a site report and pass onto their supervisor to obtain the plants.
• When plants are to be replaced, The Interior Landscapes Technician will always use a dust sheet and keep a dustpan and brush at hand.
• When the Interior Landscapes Technician is working within offices, it is important that work is carried out discreetly and quietly to enable our client’s staff to get on with their everyday work.

What we expect from our Interior Landscapes Technician:

• A love for plants is important, Horticultural knowledge is beneficial
• Experience of maintaining sites within time limitations
• The Interior Landscapes Technician will need to be physically fit due to the nature of the work
• Experience of delivering maintenance to multiple sites would be beneficial
• The Interior Landscapes Technician must hold a current UK driving license to travel between sites
