Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician 2 year fixed term postSalary: This post attracts a salary under Annex 21 of Agenda for Change of 70 of band 4.We are looking for a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician to join our fantastic pharmacy team at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust. Together with full hospital training, the post holder will study part time day release for a BTEC diploma in applied science pharmaceutical, and an NVQ 3 in Pharmacy Services within the workplace. Progression to year 2 is dependent on successful completion of the 1st year of the BTEC diploma and progression of the NVQ3.Due to the nature of funding for this position applicants who have a degree level equivalent or above qualification maybe liable to fund the course fees themselves. NB – You must be able to take up post on 1st Sept 2018 - shortlisted applicants must undertake and pass a BSKB Assessment on either Monday 21st May
2018 9am - 12noon or Wednesday 23rd May 2018 2pm - 5pm at Cheshire college South &West Ellesmere Port campus off Sutton Way Ellesmere Port CH65 7BF.Only successful applicants will progress to interview, which will be held on Monday 4th June 2018 2018 and Tuesday 5th June 2018.Candidates should possess 4 GCSE’s grade C and above including English, Maths and Chemistry Dual Science Award accepted plus one other science subject. The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is a centre of excellence hosting chemotherapy and radiotherapy services for adult oncology patients, serving the population of Merseyside and Cheshire. The pharmacy is equipped with a £1.7m purpose built department consisting of licensed aseptic production and gene therapy preparation facilities.
