Pre-registration Traininee Pharmacy Technician

The work is interesting and varied and you will gain skills in all areas of pharmacy including dispensing prescriptions, supplying medication to the wards, manufacturing medicinal products and medicines information.
The successful candidate will be employed on a 2 year fixed term contract. They will be sponsored to work towards the Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science and Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills is a unique, innovative blended learning programme, collaboratively delivered by the West Suffolk College and the School of Pharmacy at the University of East Anglia, offering a combination of work based learning, distance learning and face to face teaching. You will be required to attend 4 x 5 day residential blocks at the School of Pharmacy, University of East Anglia, plus additional network study days every 5-6 weeks
Successful completion of the Diploma will enable you to work as a qualified registered Pharmacy Technician.
You will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent A-C grade to include Maths, English, Chemistry, Biology double science accepted, or Pharmacy Apprentices Level 2 intermediate level Apprenticeship in Health Pharmacy Sciences with 4 GSCEs or equivalent A-C Chemistry, Biology double science accepted.
